O Lord, that you have in Blessed Luigi Variara
given an admirable example of dedication to
suffering and silent submission to yours
will also give us kindness in serving,
courage in preferring the most needy and fortitude
in overcoming difficulties. By his intercession
give us the grace that we ask you with faith.
For Christ our Lord. Amen

Father, who in the heart of your loved one
Son offer us a sign of Your love
and of Your mercy, grant
to the Christian community to be able to contemplate
one day in the glory of the
altar your faithful servant, Don Luigi Variara.
Supported by his example of a man
of faith and priest of charity,
we implore your divine goodness: to prove ourselves
