PRAYER

Lord, we thank you for the gift of the holiness of Giuseppe da Leonessa to the Church. In him you have raised up all the virtues proper to the Christian: ardent love for you, heroic charity for brothers, angelic purity, tireless apostolate, the search for peace. You gave it to us so that we could imitate it and you favored it with thanks so that we could find help: that's what we ask of you. o Lord. Today more than ever we need love, prayer, penance, peace; we need comfort in pain, help in needs. Give us your children what you desire: we ask you to trust in the merits and intercession of St. Joseph of Leonessa. Amen.
