PRAYER OF ROSMINI AL

PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST

Prostrate in your presence,
my dearest Lord,
I love you deeply and I dedicate myself entirely
to your glory.
Feel free to have me as you like,
since I have no other desire
than to perfectly fulfill your will.
Trust in your goodness
and in the grace of your most beloved Son Jesus Christ,
I offer myself ready to receive from your hands
any sort of suffering
and sacrifice for your love
and for the salvation of souls
blood and life.
Accept, Lord, this offer
in union with what your divine Son made you
and our Savior Jesus Christ,
when he offered you his most precious Blood
and sacrificed his holy life on the cross.
Look into the face of this most beloved your Son
and, in his regard, welcome the offer of me
unworthy your servant,
that I no longer crave
than to consume me for your love.
You see very well, O my God, how weak I am;
therefore do your grace
you support me in my infirmity.
Blessed me if it were given to me to shed my blood
and to sacrifice my life
to confess even one of the doctrines
and practice even one of the truths
teach us from your divine Son.
You who hold the hearts of men in your hand
ignite me more and more of the love of such a sacrifice
and make me really become
a perfect victim of charity.
I recommend to you, queen of martyrs
and very sweet mother my Mary,
and please get me grace
to participate worthily in passion and death
of your divine Son.
