O glorious Saint Giovanna Francesca,
with fervent prayer,

with attention to the Divine Presence,
and with the purity of intention,
you have reached an intimate union with God on earth.

Be our lawyer now, our mother,
and our guide on the path of virtue and perfection.

Plead our cause with Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
to which you have been so tenderly devoted,
and whose holy virtues you have so closely imitated.

Obtain us, O lovable and compassionate Saint,
the virtues that you believe are most necessary for us:

an ardent love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament,
a tender and filial trust in His Most Holy Mother,
and, like you, a constant reminder of his sacred Passion and death.

Also get us, please,
that our particular intention of this novena
may be granted to us.

V. Pray for us, O Saint Giovanna Francesca,
R. Because we are made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let's pray:
O almighty and merciful God,
that you have granted to Saint Giovanna Francesca,
so inflamed with love for you,
a splendid degree of virtue and fortitude in all paths of life,

and through her,

your church with a new religious Order,
for your merits and prayers,

that we, so subject to our weakness
but confident in your strength,
we can overcome all adversities

with the help of your heavenly grace.
