October 13 the miracle of the sun and the trials of life

On 13 October, like all the devotees of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we remember the miracle of the sun which took place in 1917. Our Lady who appeared in Fatima in Portugal promises the three little shepherds Lucia, Jacinta and Francesco that she will make a miracle, a sign to testify her presence. On 13 October 1917 in the presence of over 80 thousand people the sun turns, changes color, pulsates, does things that science itself cannot prove. The news spread to such an extent that even atheist magazines write about the fact.

Why did Our Lady do this? She wants to tell us that she exists, she is present, she is our mother, she is close to us.

We have trials in life but don't be afraid. We must all have faith and look to the one they have pierced. Among the events of life let us not forget that we are created by God and to God we return. We are defeated but not defeated, we are defeated but we continue to react, we are on the ground but get up again. Trials in life make sense that only at the end we can give an explanation.

So all of us just have to have faith, play our part and entrust ourselves to him who is the Lord of life. I am now convinced that everything depends on our God and what we call coincidences are things that God himself has planned before we think it.

So I tell you, stay calm. Our Lady gives you witness that she is close to you, God created you, Jesus loves you and redeemed you. What do you worry about? Of the trials of life? The creator sent them to you himself and is giving you the strength to overcome them himself.

I want to end with a spontaneous four-line prayer to Our Lady:
“O dear Mother you who are omnipotent and eternal by the grace of God, turn your gaze to me and guide my steps. Ask your son Jesus for forgiveness for me, protect me, bless me and accompany me. I love you"

On October 13, Our Lady appears in Fatima and changes the sun, directs the events of the world and nature. On October 13, Our Lady tells you "I am here and are you there?".
