NOVEMBER 14 BLESSED GIOVANNI LICCIO. Today's prayer

O Blessed John, You who were in a special way illuminated by faith, inflamed with superhuman zeal in self-denial and in limitless charity towards the poor and needy, illuminating them with the light of your fiery evangelical preaching, and comforting them with wise advice and with unexpected and prodigious relief; deh! now that you are immersed in the ocean of the divine light and in the glory of the Blessed, obtain that we too, by your example and with your protection, never stray from the dictates of faith, hope and charity, but by denying ourselves and to the petty affections of the earth, we live in fraternal charity which makes us all children of God, share with our fellow men the material bread necessary in this life and the heavenly bread, which associates us with the Angels in the life of grace and glory. So be it.
Three Pater, Ave and Gloria.

O Blessed John, you who during your life lived on earth, loving above all things the heavenly homeland, you did not despise, but you also loved the earthly homeland with holy affection, decorating it with holy institutions and a convent and a lock of your Order. , so that your followers would continue, through the centuries, the mission of moral restoration of the people, pointing to your glory, as an incitement to good and virtue, deh! now, from the heavenly homeland, where you exercise the patronage of the earthly homeland with God, with your merits, let the abundance of divine blessings descend on it and on each of us, to praise and bless you every moment with the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. So be it.
Three Pater, Ave and Gloria.
