May 16 San Simone. Prayer to the Saint

Heavenly Father,
you called St. Simon Stock to serve you
in the fraternity of the Madonna del Monte Carmelo.
Through his prayers, help us - like him - to live in your presence
and to work for the salvation of the human family.
We ask you for Christ our Lord. Amen.

O Saint Simon, you have been blessed with the apparition of Our Lady and you have received the Scapular as a particular sign of His favor. Following your example, I commit myself to bring the Scapular faithfully and devoutly so that I can always enjoy in the life of the wonderful protection of Our Lady and Her special help at the moment of death.
