JULY 19 SANTA MACRINA. Prayer to be recited today

Lord, you have dissolved the fear of death for us, you give the earth that we are, what you yourself shaped with your hands, to the earth and revive what you have given to man, transforming through the immortality and beauty what is mortal and deformed in us.

You are the one who snatched us from curse and sin,

making you both for us.

Eternal God, towards whom I leaned from my mother's womb, you whom my soul has loved with all her might, place a luminous angel at my side to lead me by the hand where is the water of rest, in the breast of the patriarchs!

You who broke the flame of the sword of fire and returned to heaven the man crucified with you and who had entrusted himself to your mercy, also remember me in your kingdom
