2 Devotions to Our Lady who give salvation, thanks and deliverance

THE SEVEN PAIN OF MARY

The Mother of God revealed to Saint Brigida that whoever recites seven "Ave Maria" a day meditating on her pains and tears and spreads this devotion, will enjoy the following benefits:

Peace in the family.

Enlightenment about divine mysteries.

The acceptance and satisfaction of all requests as long as they are according to the will of God and for the salvation of his soul.

Eternal joy in Jesus and in Mary.

FIRST PAIN: The revelation of Simeon

Simeon blessed them and spoke to Mary, his mother: «He is here for the ruin and resurrection of many in Israel, a sign of contradiction for the thoughts of many hearts to be revealed. And to you also a sword will pierce the soul "(Lk 2, 34-35).

SECOND PAIN: The flight to Egypt

An angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said to him: "Get up, take the child and his mother with you and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I warn you, because Herod is looking for the child to kill him." Joseph woke up and took the boy and his mother with him in the night and fled to Egypt.
(Mt 2, 13-14)

Holy Mary…

THIRD PAIN: The loss of Jesus in the Temple

Jesus remained in Jerusalem, without the parents noticing. Believing him in the caravan, they made a day of travel, and then they started looking for him among relatives and acquaintances. After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the doctors, listening to them and questioning them. They were amazed to see him and his mother said to him, "Son, why have you done this to us?" Behold, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously. "
(Lk 2, 43-44, 46, 48).

Holy Mary…

FOURTH PAIN: The encounter with Jesus on the way to Calvary

All of you who go down the street, consider and observe if there is a pain similar to my pain. (Lm 1:12). "Jesus saw his Mother present there" (Jn 19:26).

Holy Mary…

FIFTH PAIN: The crucifixion and death of Jesus.

When they reached the place called Cranio, there they crucified Him and the two evildoers, one on the right and the other on the left. Pilate also composed the inscription and had it placed on the cross; there was written "Jesus the Nazarene, the king of the Jews" (Lk 23,33:19,19; Jn 19,30:XNUMX). And after receiving the vinegar, Jesus said, "Everything is done!" And, bowing his head, he expired. (Jn XNUMX)

SIXTH PAIN: The deposition of Jesus in the arms of Mary

Giuseppe d'Arimatèa, an authoritative member of the Sanhedrin, who also waited for the kingdom of God, bravely went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus. Then, having bought a sheet, he lowered it down from the cross and, wrapped it in the sheet, laid it down. in a sepulcher dug in the rock. Then he rolled a boulder against the entrance to the tomb. Meanwhile Mary of Magdala and Mary the mother of Ioses were watching where he was laid. (Mk 15, 43, 46-47).

Holy Mary…

SEVENT PAIN: The burial of Jesus and the solitude of Mary

His mother, her mother's sister, Mary of Cleopa and Mary of Magdala, stood at the cross of Jesus. Then Jesus, seeing the mother and the disciple whom he loved standing beside her, said to the mother: «Woman, here is your son!». Then he said to the disciple, "Here is your mother!" And from that moment the disciple took her into his home. (Jn 19, 25-27).

THE DEVOTION OF THE THREE AVE MARIA

Jesus says (Mt 16,26:XNUMX): "What good is it for man to gain the whole world if he then loses his soul?". Therefore the most important business of this life is eternal salvation. Do you want to save yourself? Be devoted to the Most Holy Virgin, Mediator of all graces, reciting Three Hail Marys every day.

Saint Matilda of Hackeborn, a Benedictine nun who died in 1298, thinking with fear of her death, prayed to Our Lady to assist her at that extreme moment. The response of the Mother of God was most consoling: “Yes, I will do what you ask of me, my daughter, but I ask you to recite Tre Ave Maria every day: the first to thank the Eternal Father for making me almighty in Heaven and on earth ; the second to honor the Son of God for having given me such science and wisdom to surpass that of all the Saints and all the Angels; the third to honor the Holy Spirit for making me the most merciful after God. "

The special promise of Our Lady is valid for everyone, except for those who recite them with malice, with the intention of continuing more quietly to sin. Someone might object that there is great disproportion in obtaining eternal salvation with the simple daily recitation of Three Hail Marys. Well, at the Marian Congress of Einsiedeln in Switzerland, Fr. Giambattista de Blois replied thus: “If this means seems to you out of proportion, you must take it out on God himself who granted the Virgin such power. God is the absolute master of his gifts. And the Virgin SS. but, in the power of intercession, he responds with generosity proportionate to his immense love as a Mother ”.

The specific element of this devotion is the intention to honor the SS. Trinity for having made the Virgin share in her power, wisdom and love.

This intention, however, does not exclude other good and holy intentions. Evidence of the facts convinces that this devotion is highly effective in obtaining temporal and spiritual graces. A missionary, fra 'Fedele, wrote: “The happy results of the practice of the Three Hail Marys are so evident and innumerable that it is not possible to record them all: healings, conversions, light in the choice of one's state, vocations, fidelity to the vocation, victory over passions, resignation in suffering, insurmountable difficulties overcome ... ".

At the end of the last century and in the first two decades of the present day, the devotion of the Three Hail Marys spread rapidly in various countries of the world for the zeal of a French Capuchin, Fr Giovanni Battista di Blois, assisted by the missionaries.

It became a universal practice when Leo XIII granted indulgences and prescribed that the Celebrant recite the Three Hail Marys after the Holy Mass with the people. This prescription lasted until Vatican II.

During the religious persecution in Mexico Pius X in an audience with a group of Mexicans said: "The devotion of the Three Hail Marys will save Mexico."

Pope John XXIII and Paul VI gave a special blessing to those who propagate it. Numerous Cardinals and Bishops gave impetus to the spread.

Many Saints were propagators of it. Sant 'Alfonso Maria de' Liquori, as a preacher, confessor and writer, did not cease to inculcate the good practice. He wanted everyone to adopt it:

Priests and religious, sinners and good souls, children, adults and old people. All the Redemptorist Saints and Blesseds, including St. Gerardo Maiella, inherited his zeal.

St. John Bosco highly recommended it to his young people. Blessed Pio of Pietrelcina was also a zealous propagator. St. John B. de Rossi, who spent up to ten, twelve hours every day in the ministry of confessions, attributed the conversion of obstinate sinners to the daily recitation of the Three Hail Marys.

Whoever recites the Angelus and the Holy Rosary every day does not consider this devotion to be a surplus. Consider that with the Angelus we honor the mystery of the Incarnation; with the Rosary we meditate on the mysteries of the life of the Savior and of Mary; with the recitation of the Three Hail Marys we honor the SS. Trinity for the three privileges granted to the Virgin: power, wisdom and love.

Those who love Heavenly Mother do not hesitate to help her save souls by means of this easy and short, but very effective practice.

Everyone can spread it: priests and religious, preachers, mothers, educators, etc.

It is not a presumptuous or superstitious means of salvation, but the authority of the Church and of the saints teaches that salvation is in the constancy of the purpose (which is not as easy as it may seem, this respect for the Blessed Virgin recited every day, at any cost , obtain mercy and salvation.

You too are faithful every day, spread the recitation to those who most want you to be saved, remember that perseverance in good and a good death are graces that are asked, on your knees, every day like all the graces that are dear to you.

(From: A key to Paradise, G. Pasquali).

Before starting this devotion, meditate on the numbers from 249 to 254 of the Treaty of true devotion to Mary, you will find that many Christians recite the Ave Maria, but few know it thoroughly.

You pray to her frequently and as an expression of your love and faith:

in the Angels (Ave)

in the power and greatness of the Holy Name of Mary (or Maria)

in the mystery of the fullness of grace in Mary from the first moment of her Immaculate Conception (full of grace)

in the union of God with souls, that of Mary, yours, ours, through grace, the life of God in us! (the Lord is with you)

in the greatness and goodness of the Favorite among all women (you are blessed among women)

in the mystery of the Incarnation, where Jesus begins our salvation (and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus)

in Divine Motherhood and in its perpetual Virginity (Holy Mary, Mother of God)

in the Mediation of Mary (pray for us)

in Mary's mercy and in the seriousness of sin (sinners)

in the need for grace and in the continuous and effective protection of Mary (now)

in the novissimi and in Mary's intervention for a good death (and in the hour of our death)

in the glory that we desire and await for the help of Maria SS. (Amen)

Mary, Mother of Jesus and my Mother, defend me from the Evil One in life and at the hour of death, by the Power that the Eternal Father has granted you.
