20 verses from the Bible to tell you how much you are loved by God

I came to Christ in my early twenties, broken and confused, not knowing who I was in Christ. Although I was aware that God loved me, I did not understand the depth and breadth of his love.

I remember the day when I finally felt God's love for me. I was sitting in my bedroom praying, when His love hit me. From that day on, I stood up and basked in the love of God.

The Bible is full of scriptures that teach us the love of God. We are truly his beloved, and he enjoys pouring out his love on us.

1. You are the apple of the eye of God.
“Hold me like the apple of the eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings. "- Psalm 17: 8

One of my sisters in Christ states that the Bible contains 66 love letters from God for us. And you are right. Restricting those 66 love letters to 20 scriptures is difficult. These scriptures are not the only verses that teach us how much we are loved. They are simply a starting point.

I encourage you to let Abraham, Sarah, Joseph, David, Hagar, Esther, Ruth, Mary (Jesus mother), Lazarus, Mary, Martha, Noah and all the other witnesses tell you how much you are loved. You will spend your whole life reading and reading their stories.
