NOVEMBER 22 SANTA CECILIA. Prayer to ask for a grace

Oh Saint Cecilia,
that you sang with your life and your martyrdom,
the praises of the Lord and you are revered in the Church,
as patroness of music and song,
help us testify,
with our voice and with the voice of our instruments,
that joy of the heart
that always comes from doing God's will
and from living our Christian ideal coherently.

Help us to animate the Holy Liturgy in a worthy way,
from which the life of the Church flows,
aware of the importance of our service.

We give you the labors and also the joys of our commitment,
for you to place them in the hands of the Most Holy Mary,
as a harmonious song of love for His Son Jesus.
