3 particularities about your Guardian Angel that you need to discover and know

PROVIDENCE
Once the prophet Elijah was in the middle of the desert, after having fled from Jezebel and, hungry and thirsty, wanted to die. "... Eager to die ... he went to bed and fell asleep under the juniper. Then, behold an angel touched him and said to him: Get up and eat! He looked and saw near his head a focaccia cooked on hot stones and a jar of water. He ate and drank, then went back to bed. The angel of the Lord came again, touched him and said to him: Get up and eat, because the journey is too long for you. He got up, ate and drank: With the strength given him by that food, he walked for forty days and forty nights to the mountain of God, the Horeb. " (1 Kings 19:48).

Just as the angel gave Elijah food and drink, we too, when we are in anguish, can receive food or drink through our angel. It can happen with a miracle or with the help of other people who share their food or bread with us. For this reason Jesus in the Gospel says: "Give them yourselves to eat" (Mt 14:16).

We ourselves can be like angels of providence for those who find themselves in difficulty.

PROTECTION
God tells us in Psalm 91: “A thousand will fall by your side and ten thousand by your right; but nothing can hit you ... Misfortune won't hit you, no blow will fall on your tent. He will order his angels to guard you in all your steps. On their hands they will bring you so that you do not stumble your foot on the stone. You will walk on aspids and vipers, you will crush lions and dragons ”.

In the midst of the worst difficulties, even in the middle of the war, when the bullets hiss all around us or the plague approaches, God can save us through his angels.

“After a very hard fight, five splendid men appeared on the skies on horses with golden bridles, leading the Jews. They took the Maccabeus in the middle and, by repairing it with their armor, made it invulnerable; instead they threw darts and thunderbolts at their adversaries and they, confused and blinded, dispersed in the throes of disorder ”(2 Mk 10, 2930).

PRAYER
An angel of God appeared to her who would become Samson's mother, who was barren. He told her that he would conceive a son, who was to be "Nazarene", consecrated to God from birth. He was not supposed to drink wine or fermented drink. Nor should he eat anything unclean, nor let his hair shorten. On a second occasion the angel also appeared to his father, called Manoach, and he asked his name. The angel replied: "Why do you ask me the name? It is mysterious. Manoach took the kid and the offering and burned them on the stone to the Lord, who works mysterious things. ... As the flame rose from the altar to heaven, the angel of the Lord went up with the flame of the altar "(Jg 13, 1620).

The angel communicates to Samson's parents the news that they are about to have a child and that, according to God's plans, he must be consecrated from birth. And, when Manoach and his wife sacrifice a kid to God, the angel ascends to heaven with a flame, as if to show that angels offer God our sacrifices and prayers.

The archangel Saint Raphael is among those who present our prayers to God. In fact he says: "I am Raphael, one of the seven angels who are always ready to enter in the presence of the majesty of God ... When you and Sara were in prayer I presented the attestation of your prayer before the glory of the Lord "(Tb 12, 1215).
