(Luke 12: 7) But it is because God loves us and knows us that he must give us more than we can handle. After all, we humans have a tendency to think that we can do everything on our own. To keep us grounded in the reality of our need for a Savior, God kindly allows us to see how much we cannot bear. God will fix it before you know it. Did you make a stupid decision? God will take care of it.

Could it get you out of that hard spot? Sure. He will do it? It depends on Him and His perfect will. With the prophet Daniel, for example, God led the boy into slavery. But it never took him "through" Babylon and back to Israel. Instead, he kept it there through king after king, battle after battle, peril after peril. Daniel aged and died away from home, never seeing the land he wanted. But God used that time for some amazing displays of His power. So, you may never get over your fight. God can lead you to stay where you are so that you can impact there - and He can get the glory.

"If God closes one door, he will open another (or a giant window)"

It could be said that this popular verse is closely associated with the number 2 above. The Bible promises that God will keep us headed in the right direction: I will instruct you and teach you the way forward; I will advise and watch over you. (Psalm 32: 8) But the “way you should go” does not necessarily mean that God will create an escape route for us when times get tough or when we seem to be making no progress. Indeed, God often does some of His best works in our expectation and teaches us to trust Him more:
