4 prayers to help you in difficult times

When difficulty crosses our paths, it can be easy to be led in the wrong direction. Here are some prayers to help you in difficult times.

  1. Heavenly Father, I praise You with all my heart. You are my shield, in you I take refuge every day of my life and I am safe. Even if the enemy comes as a flood, Lord, you have set a standard on my life and I always remain victorious. I call you, Lord, because you are worthy of all praise and I am saved. In my anguish I call You because I know that this battle is not mine, it is Yours. Reach me from above and get me out of all my problems. Thunder from the sky, shoot Your arrows and defeat my enemies. Help me walk in victory. In the name of Jesus, I believe and pray, Amen.

2.

Lord, thank you for dying on the Cross for me. It is thanks to Your great sacrifice that I have freed myself from the control of the enemy. Though I am broken and shattered within, I remain steadfast in that completion you have given me, and I declare and decree that nothing will bring me down. I choose to walk in victory, because you have planted me on solid ground. The devil has nothing against me, because I was bought at a high price. I will accomplish the purposes that God has for me. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

3

Father, this season is tough for me. Sometimes I feel like giving up because my enemies seem stronger than me. But Your word says that he who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. Nothing is too complicated for you. When the storm seems so violent, remind me how big you are, my God. When the enemy fills my mind with fearful thoughts, remind me that he is only a created being. Fill me with strength, so that I can stand and walk in victory. Let hope fill my heart so that I can rise again and stand firm in your promises. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

4

Dear God, purify me of everything that prevents me from walking in victory. Fill me with peace and joy. Renew my strength to be able to sow like an eagle. May I run and not get tired, may I walk in Your ways and not fall. Help me face life's challenges boldly for I am more than a winner through Christ Jesus. Keep my lamp burning and turn my darkness into light. Lord, Your ways are perfect and Your word is flawless. I love you and I adore you. In the name of Jesus, I believe and pray, Amen.
