5 ways to receive the grace of God

Remember is the idea of God
Sometimes we are so caught up in our own works that we forget Romans 8, which says "nothing can separate us from the love of God". You don't have to be perfect to receive God's grace - just willing. Lucado says: "Discovering grace is discovering the absolute devotion of God towards you, his resolute determination to give you a purifying, healthy, purifying love that brings the wounded back to their feet".

Just ask
Matthew 7: 7 says: "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you". All that awaits is your request. Jesus treats our past with grace. It will take on everything - if you ask it.

Remember the cross
The work of Jesus Christ on the cross makes this precious gift of grace available. Max reminds us "Christ came to earth for a reason: to give His life as a ransom for you, for me, for all of us".

Through forgiveness
The apostle Paul reminds us: "He who started a good work in you will bring it to completion on the day of Jesus Christ." Trust in God's grace by receiving forgiveness. Forgive yourself. See yourself as the dear child of God who is remodeling every day. Let Grace overcome your past and create a clear conscience in you.

Forget and press ahead
"But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and tending towards what awaits us, I take the goal for the reward of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus". Grace is the power of God that keeps your engine moving. God says, "For I will be merciful to their iniquities, and I will no longer remember their sins." Continue to follow God hard and don't let your memory paralyze you.
