6 stories of angels, prayers and miracles

Some of the most fascinating and uplifting stories of the unexplained are those that people perceive as miraculous in nature. Sometimes they are in the form of answered prayers or are seen as the actions of guardian angels. These extraordinary events and encounters give comfort, strengthen faith - even save lives - at times when these things seem to be needed most.

Are they literally from heaven or are they created by a little understood interaction of our consciousness with a deeply mysterious universe? However you see them, these real life experiences deserve our attention.

The rush home
While many of these types of stories change lives or otherwise affect the people who experience them, some involve seemingly insignificant activities such as a baseball game for children.

Consider the story of John D. His baseball team had made it to the playoffs but was fighting in one of the semi-finals. John's team was in the bat at the bottom of the last inning with two outs, two strikes and three balls, bases loaded. His team was behind, from 7 to 5. Then something very unusual happened:

“Our second baseman called a timeout so he could tie his shoes,” says John. “I was sitting on the bench when suddenly a strange man I had never seen before appeared in front of me. I was still frozen and my blood turned to ice. He was dressed in black and spoke without even looking at me. I didn't really like our batter. This man said, "Do you have courage in this boy and do you have faith?" At that point, I turned to my coach, who had taken off his sunglasses and sat right next to me; he hadn't even noticed the man. I turned to the stranger, but he was gone. The next moment, our second baseman called the time in. The next shot, our batter hit a run out of the park, winning the game 8 to 7. We went on to win the championship. ”
Angel hand
Winning a baseball game is one thing, but escaping serious injury is another thing. Jackie B. believes her guardian angel came to her aid on two of these occasions. More interestingly, his testimony is that he felt and felt this protective force physically. Both happened when she was a preschool girl:

“Everyone in town used to go up the hills near the post office to sleigh in the winter,” says Jackie. “I was sledding with my family and went the steep part. I closed my eyes and got out. Apparently I hit someone who was going down and was spinning out of control. I was heading for the metal railing. I didn't know what to do. Suddenly I felt something pushing my chest down. I got within half an inch of the railing but didn't hit it. I could have lost my nose.

“The second experience was during a celebration of my birthday at school. I went to lay the wreath on the playground bench during recess. I was returning to play with my friends. Three guys suddenly tripped over me. This playground had a lot of metal and wood chips (not a good combination). I went flying and hit something about 1/4 inch below the eye. But I felt something that pulled me back when I fell. The teachers said they saw me in order to fly forward and then go back at the same time. As they hurried me to the nurse's office, I heard an unfamiliar voice keep telling me, “Don't worry. I'm here. God doesn't want anything to happen to his baby. '"
The accident notice
Our future is planned, and is that how psychics and prophets can see the future? Or is the future just a set of possibilities, the path of which can be modified by our actions? A reader with the Hfen username writes that he received two separate and noteworthy warnings about a possible future incident he was heading towards. They may have saved her life:

“At four in the morning, my phone rang,” writes Hfen. “It was my sister calling from all over the country. Her voice trembled and she was almost in tears. He told me he had a vision of me in a car accident. He didn't say if I was killed or not, but the sound of his voice made me think he believed it, but he was afraid to tell me. He told me to pray and he told me he would pray for me. He told me to be careful, to take another route to work - whatever I could do. I told her that I believed her and that I would call our mother and ask her to pray with us.
I left to work at the hospital, terrified but strengthened in spirit. I went to talk to patients about some concerns. As I was leaving, a man sitting in a wheelchair by the door called me. I went to him expecting him to have a complaint against the hospital. He told me that God had given him a message that I was going to be in a car accident! He said someone who wasn't paying attention would hit me. I was so shocked that I almost passed out. He said he would pray for me and that God loved me. I felt weak in my knees as I left the hospital. I drove like an old lady as I watched every intersection, stop sign and stop light. When I got home, I called my mother and sister and told them I was fine. "

A saved relationship can be as important as a saved life. A reader named Smigenk tells how a small "miracle" could have saved his troubled marriage. A few years ago, she was making every effort to mend her rocky relationship with her husband and plan a long romantic weekend in Bermuda. Then things started to go wrong and it seemed that his plans had been ruined ... until "fate" intervened:

“My husband grudgingly agreed to go, but was worried about the short time between our connecting flights,” says Smigenk. “We thought things were going to be fine in Philadelphia, but there had been bad weather and the planes were backed up; then, we were put into a seal scheme and landed just as our connecting flight to Bermuda was due to board. We rushed through the airport, only to get to the check-in counter as the gate door was closing. I was devastated and my husband was not in a good mood.

We asked for new flights but were told it would take two more flights and about 10 hours more to arrive. My husband said, “That's it. I can't take it anymore ”and I started to leave the area and - I knew - outside of marriage. I was truly devastated. As my husband walked away, the clerk saw on the counter (and I swear he hadn't been there at check-in) a package. She was obviously upset that it was still there. It turned out to be the package of landing documents that the pilot must have on board to land in another country. He quickly called the plane to return. The plane had been on the runway ready to start powering the engines. He went back to the document gate and they allowed us (and others) to go up.
Our time in Bermuda was wonderful and we decided to work on our problems. Our marriage went through more difficult times, but we both never forgot that incident at the airport when I felt like my world collapsed and we were given a miracle that helped us keep a marriage and a family “.

It is remarkable how many stories of angels come from hospital experiences. Perhaps it is not that difficult to understand when we realize that they are places of highly focused emotions, prayers and hopes. Reader DBayLorBaby entered the hospital in 1994 with acute pain from "a grapefruit-sized fibroid tumor" in her uterus. The surgery was successful but it was more complicated than expected and her problems weren't over:

“I was in horrible pain,” recalls DBayLorBaby. “The doctor gave me an IV morphine drip, only to find that I'm allergic to morphine. I had an allergic reaction, and so they countered with some other medicines. I was horrified! I had just had major surgery, learned that I may not be able to have children in the future and just had an acute drug reaction, that same night they gave me another pain reliever and slept soundly for a few hours.
I woke up in the middle of the night. According to the wall clock, it was 2:45 am. I overheard someone talking and realized that someone was at my bedside. She was a young woman with short brown hair and a white hospital uniform. She was sitting and reading aloud from the Bible. I said to her: 'Am I okay? Why are you here with me?
He stopped reading but didn't turn to look at me. He simply said, 'I was sent here to make sure you are okay. You're doing fine. You should now rest and go back to sleep. ”He started reading again and I went back to sleep. The next day, I was doing my checkup with my doctor and explained what happened the night before. He looked perplexed and checked my reports and post-op notes. He told me that no nurses or doctors were stationed to sit with me the night before. I questioned all the nurses who took care of me; everyone said the same, that no nurses or doctors had visited my room that night for anything other than to check my vital organs. To this day, I believe I was visited by my Guardian Angel that night. She was sent to comfort me and make sure I would be okay.

Perhaps more painful than any injury or illness is the feeling of utter despair - the despair of the soul that leads to suicidal thoughts. Dean S. became acquainted with this pain as he was about to divorce at the age of 26. The thought of being separated from his two daughters, aged three and one, was almost more than he could bear. But on a dark stormy night, Dean was given renewed hope:

“I was working on a rig like a ram and seriously thought about taking my own life as I looked down along the 128-foot-tall tower I worked in,” says Dean. “My family and I firmly believe in Jesus, but it was difficult not to contemplate suicide. In the worst thunderstorm I've ever seen, I climbed the tower to take my position to extract the tube from the hole we were making.
My colleagues said: “You don't have to go up. We'd rather take some time off than lose a man up there. I brushed them off and climbed anyway. Lightning all around me, thunder broke out. I cried out to God to take me. If I couldn't have my family, I wouldn't have wanted to live… but I couldn't have killed myself. God spared me. I don't know how I survived that night, but I did.
A couple of weeks later, I bought a small Bible and went to the Peace River Hills, where my family has lived for so long. I sat on one of the green hills and started reading. I had such a warm feeling entering me as the sun opened through the clouds and shone on me. It was raining around me, but I was dry and hot in my little spot on top of that hill.
Now I've moved on to a better life, met the girl of my dreams and the love of my life, and we have a wonderful family along with my two daughters. Thank you, Lord Jesus and the angels you sent that day to touch my soul! "
