7 prayers of faith to give to God

1. "I'm grateful"

Merciful God, even if things are difficult right now, I raise my hands in gratitude. I thank you for being with me and for having listened to the pleas of my heart. Please help me keep thoughts of gratitude even when I prefer to complain or worry about the situation. Help me see this difficulty as an opportunity to grow in my faith. Remind me to always rejoice and to give thanks in everything. I know this is your will for me and I trust you in this. Thank you, God, for your continued presence in my life. I am truly grateful, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, amen.

2. 'I confess'
Holy God,

Thank you for your mercies which are new every morning. I come to you in humble gratitude for your willingness to forgive. I'm sorry for my disobedience. Please take my sins and throw them into the depths of the ocean. Thank you for your purifying power which removes all injustice. I surrender to you once again and rely on you for help and guidance. In the name of Jesus, amen.

3. 'You are God'
Lord God,

You are sovereign over all circumstances. There is nothing that escapes you. Please help me remember when I feel out of control. You are my strong tower. You are my refuge in times of trouble. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. And because you see the beginning from the end, I can trust you in all things. I declare Your name today: Jesus, the Way, the Truth and the Light. And it is in your name that I live, move and exist. Amen.

4. 'Help my unbelief'
Sir,

I come to you with heavy burdens and a heart full of doubts. Even though I know that everything is possible in You, I find it hard to believe. Please, Lord, according to your will, hear my prayer and act in my favor. Please take my disbelief and replace it with the certainty that you are able to heal, defend, change and heal. I know that you are fully aware of this situation and you love me with an everlasting love. Therefore, I confess my disbelief and ask you to work things out as only you can. In the name of Your Son, Jesus, amen.

5. 'Though'
Please give me the strength to trust You in all things. Even when I feel pressure on all sides and want to give in, please help me remember the faith of Shadrac, Meshac and Abednego. Give me the determination to say "even if" and carry on with the courage that you are with me. In the name of Jesus, amen.

6. 'Yet I will praise you'
I come before you following Job's example of praise and worship in the face of adversity. It is not easy, Father, but I know that your ways are higher than mine and, despite everything, you are worthy of praise. You are good, holy and righteous, and I can trust you at all times. Thank you for giving me the strength to persevere and the faithfulness to keep worshiping you no matter what. In the name of Jesus I pray, amen.

7. 'Your will be done '
I know that I can boldly come before your throne and present my requests to you. Thank you for this. I also know that your will is perfect and holy. For this I abandon my pleas and ask that your will be done. In everything, fulfill Your purpose in my life. I trust you. In the name of Jesus, amen.
