AUGUST 19 SAN GIOVANNI EUDES. Prayer to be recited to the Saint

O God, who in order to promote devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, you wonderfully inflamed Saint John as your confessor, and through him you wanted to make new families flourish in your Church; grant, we beg You, that we can venerate his merits and be built up by the examples of his virtues. We ask you for Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, for all the ages of the ages. Amen.

to preach the infinite riches of Christ.

With his teaching and his example
help us to know you better
and live faithfully in the light of the Gospel.
