Garabandal (Spain): Our Lady announces the prophecy of the three popes

La prophecy of the three Popes announced by Our Lady is one of the most important messages that were communicated during the Marian apparitions. These apparitions occurred in the small village of Garabandal, located in the mountainous region of Cantabria, Spain.

During these events, the Madonna appeared numerous times to four girls, Conchita, Mari Cruz, Jacinta and Mari Loli, communicating important messages for humanity. One of these messages, the one released to shell, was about the prophecy of the three Popes, which claimed that before the end of time there would only be three Popes remained on Earth.

In the prophecy, Our Lady announced that Pope Paul VI, the Pontiff at the time, would have witnessed the Second Vatican Council, a great reform in the Catholic Church. The according to Pope would have been John Paul I., who, unfortunately, would die shortly after the beginning of his pontificate. The third and last Pope of the prophecy would be the one who would live during the end times.

This prophecy caused great astonishment and concern among the faithful, as it seemed to indicate that there would be a period of turmoil within the Catholic Church and that future events would lead to an era of great confusion.

The prophecy of the 3 Popes has not yet been completely fulfilled

However, the prophecy of the three Popes announced at Garabandal has not yet been completely realized. Pope Paul VI actually witnessed the Second Vatican Council, but the second Pope of the prophecy, John Paul I, died mysteriously after only 33 days of pontificate. This event became the subject of great speculation and conspiracy theories. Still but it is not clear whether his death was in any way connected to the prophecy.

Many believe that the prophecy refers to the current Pope, Francesco, who was the third Pope after Paul VI to testify to the Vatican Council II. In fact, this Pope seems to face numerous challenges and controversies within the Catholic Church.
