Holy Week: meditation on Palm Sunday

When they were close to Jerusalem, towards
Bètfage and Betània, near the Mount of Olives,
Jesus sent two of his disciples and said to them:
"Go to the village in front of you and immediately,
upon entering it, you will find a foal tied, on the
which no one has gone up yet. Untie it e
bring it here. And if someone says to you: “Why do you do it
this? ", answer:" The Lord needs it,
but he will send him back here immediately "».
They went and found a foal tied near a door, out on the
road, and they untied him. Some of those present said to them, "Why untie
this foal? ». And they answered them as Jesus said. And there
they let it be. They took the foal to Jesus, threw their foals on it
cloaks and he climbed on it. Many spread their cloaks on the
road, others instead of the branches, cut in the fields. Those who preceded
and those who followed shouted: "Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in
name of the lord! Blessed is the Kingdom that comes, of our father David!
Hosanna in the highest heaven! ».
From the Gospel of Mark
You are loved, and you are loved in an unconditional and total way. The love
limited and incomplete of your parents, your friends, your teachers, the
your lover and your family or community is simply a reflection
of that unlimited love that has already been given to you. It is a limited reflection of a
unlimited love. It is a partial reality that gives visibility of something that has been
given in an 'impartial' way. You are absolutely not what the world is
he makes you and wants you to be. You were created out of love and offered to you
unconditional love. This is what you are: a favorite, one who has
love to share.
The voice that Jesus heard immediately after his baptism was
a prodigious and incredible affirmation from God: “You are my Son
beloved, in whom I am well pleased "(cf. Mt 3,17:XNUMX).
This voice enabled Jesus to go into the world, to live in truth and
also to suffer. He knew the truth, stated it and went into the world.
Many people ruined their lives by rejecting and offending him, spitting on him
on him and finally killing him on the cross, but he never lost the truth. Jesus
he lived his joy and pain under the blessing of the Father. He never lost
its truth. God loved him unconditionally and no one could take him away
this love.
