Did Jesus drink alcohol? Can Christians Drink Alcohol? The answer

I Christians they can drink alcohol? IS Jesus He drank alcohol?

We must remember that in John chapter 2, the first miracle that Jesus performed was that of transforming water into wine at the wedding at Cana. And, in fact, it was the wine so good that at the end of this wedding banquet, the guest came to the master of the party and said, "Usually you keep the bad wine last but you served the best wine last" and this was the first miracle of Jesus.

Hence, the Scriptures nowhere openly and totally denounce alcohol. On the contrary, positive things are said about wine. In Psalm 104, for example, it is said that God gave wine to gladden the hearts of men. But he warns about the abuse of wine and, therefore, alcohol. In fact, the Scriptures continually warn us against the dangers of drunkenness. Proverbs 23... Ephesians chapter 5… “Don't be drunk with wine, where there is excess; but be full of the Spirit ”.

So, there are good things being said and warnings about abuse. Therefore, when Christians think about the problem of drinking alcohol, we must take both things into consideration. We must recognize, on the one hand, that wine itself is a gift from God. Thus says Psalm 104. There is nothing wrong with wine itself and we could compare it to many other things that are gifts from God. So, too. sex is a gift from God: there is nothing wrong with it. As Christians, we are not against sex. Money is a gift from God, work is a gift from God. There is a kind of divine ambition in working, producing and succeeding. These things are gifts from God. Relationships are gifts from God, food is a gift from God. But any of these things can be abused. We can make each of these things an idol. We can take a good thing and turn it into a definitive thing, and then it becomes an idol.
