Maria Grazia Veltraino walks again thanks to the intercession of Father Luigi Caburlotto
Maria Grazia Veltraino she is a Venetian woman who, after fifteen years of total paralysis and immobility, dreamed of Father Luigi Caburlotto, a Venetian parish priest proclaimed blessed in 2015. In the dream, Father Luigi tells her to get up and walk.
The dream had a miraculous effect about Maria Grazia, who the next morning got out of bed as if nothing had happened and went to do the shopping. This surprised everyone who knew her physical condition.
Maria Grazia's story is told in the book “Healed by love. In this book she says that after 15 years of illness, in the night between'11 and 12 February 2008, Father Luigi Caburlotto, founder of the Daughters of Saint Joseph, dreamed. In his dream he was shrouded in white clouds and telling her to get up and walk.
This dream has awakened Maria Grazia, who got out of bed without effort and without needing support. She tried to walk around the house and succeeded. Maria Grazia had known Father Luigi since 1954, but he didn't ask for it for his recovery. However, she knew that other people were praying for her, especially the nuns of the Daughters of Saint Joseph.

After getting out of bed, she waited for her caregiver, Valentina, who usually arrived at his house between 8.00 and 8.30 in the morning and surprised her by opening the door on her own, without the need for help. She did not tell anything to Valentina, fearing that she had been deceived or that her improvement was passenger.
Subsequently, Maria Grazia asked Valentina out without his usual wheelchair, which did not leave from six years and seven months. They went out together for an hour walking around the building and in the neighborhood.
The people they met on the street were without words in the face of the miracle he had accomplished. The next day, Maria Grazia went to buy a pair of slippers without difficulties. In the store, she passed effortlessly 22 steps. Convinced that something extraordinary was happening, she called the nuns of the San Giuseppe Institute to tell them that she was walking without a wheelchair. The nuns were amazed.
A week after her recovery, her doctor visited her and was moved. She advised her not to use her wheelchair anymore, the stick or medicine which he had been taking for some time. She scheduled a visit for her after a month.
Maria Grazia continued to improve gradually over the following days and promised herself to go and venerate Father Luigi at his tomb in Venice if he continued walking for three months.
