First Reading
I myself will lead my sheep to pasture and I will let them rest.
From the book of the prophet Ezekiel
Eze 34,11-16

Thus says the Lord God:

«Here, I myself will search for my sheep and browse them. As a shepherd reviews his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so I will review my sheep and gather them from all the places where they were scattered on cloudy and hazy days.

I will bring them out of the peoples and gather them from all regions. I will bring them back to their land and have them grazed on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the region.

I will lead them in excellent pastures and their pasture will be in the high mountains of Israel; there they will settle on fertile pastures and graze abundantly in the mountains of Israel. I myself will lead my sheep to pasture and I will let them rest. Oracle of the Lord God.

I will go in search of the lost sheep and bring the lost one back to the sheepfold, I will bandage that wound and heal the sick one, I will take care of the fat and the strong; I will feed them with justice. "

God's word

Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 22 (23)
R. The Lord is my shepherd: I lack nothing.
The Lord is my Shepherd:
I lack nothing.
On grassy pastures it makes me rest,
to calm waters it leads me.
Refresh my soul. R.

It guides me on the right path
because of its name.
Even if I go to a dark valley,
I don't fear any harm, because you are with me.
Your staff and your vincàstro
they give me security. R.

In front of me you prepare a canteen
under the eyes of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows. R.

Yes, kindness and loyalty will be my companions
all the days of my life,
I will still live in the house of the Lord
for long days. R.

Second reading
God shows his love for us.
From the letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Romans
Rom 5,5b-11

Brothers, the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

In fact, when we were still weak, in the appointed time Christ died for the wicked. Now, hardly anyone is willing to die for a just man; maybe someone would dare to die for a good person. But God shows his love for us in the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

All the more reason now, justified in his blood, we will be saved from anger through him. If, in fact, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, we will be saved through his life. Not only that, but we also glory in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, thanks to whom we have now received reconciliation.

God's word
Gospel acclamation

Take my yoke upon you, says the Lord,
and learn from me that I am mild and humble in heart. (Mt 11,29ab)

I am the good shepherd, says the Lord,
I know my sheep
and my sheep know me. (Jn 10,14:XNUMX)

Alleluia

Gospel
Rejoice with me, because I found my sheep, the one that was lost.
From the Gospel according to Luke
Lk 15,3-7)

At that time, Jesus said this parable to the Pharisees and scribes:

«Who among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one, does not leave the ninety-nine in the desert and goes in search of the lost one, until he finds it?

When he found it, full of joy, he carried it on his shoulders, went home, called his friends and neighbors, and said to them: "Rejoice with me, because I found my sheep, the one that was lost".

I say to you: thus there will be joy in heaven for one sinner who is converted, more than for ninety-nine righteous who do not need conversion ».
