Our Lady in Medjugorje gives you an idea on how to live well

Message dated February 20, 1985
Firmly decide what to do in particular for this Lent. I would like to give you an idea. During this time, try to overcome a defect every day by avoiding one of your most frequent weaknesses and shortcomings, such as irascibility, impatience, laziness, gossip, disobedience, the refusal of unpleasant people. If you can't stand a proud person, you must try to get close to him. If you want her to become humble, take the first step towards her. Show her that humility is worth more than pride. So every day you meditate on yourself and look in your heart for what there is to change, the weaknesses to overcome, the vices to eliminate. I also want each of you to choose another member of the group and together you decide to live spiritually together throughout Lent. Agree on what to do together to try to eliminate your flaws. You have to work hard and do your best. You must sincerely want this Lent to pass in love. So you will be closer to me and Heavenly Father. You will be happier and the men around you will also be happier. As a mother, I invite you to be aware of everything you do.
Some passages from the Bible that can help us understand this message.
Genesis 7,1-24
The Lord said to Noah: “You enter the ark with all your family, because I have seen you right before me in this generation. From each animal world take seven pairs with you, the male and his female; of the animals that are not a couple worlds, the male and his female. Also of the worldly birds of the sky, seven pairs, male and female, to keep their race alive all over the earth. Because in seven days I will rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights; I will exterminate every being I have made from the earth. " Noah did what the Lord had commanded him. Noah was six hundred years old when the flood came, that is, the waters on the earth. Noah entered the ark and with him his children, his wife and the wives of his children, to escape the flood waters. Of the clean and unclean animals, the birds and all the beings that crawl on the ground entered two and two with Noah in the ark, male and female, as God had commanded Noah. After seven days, the waters of the flood were over the earth; in the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth of the month, on that very day, all the springs of the great abyss erupted and the floodgates of the sky opened. The rain fell on the earth for forty days and forty nights. On that same day Noah entered the ark with his sons Sem, Cam and Jafet, Noah's wife, the three wives of his three sons: they and all the living according to their species and all the livestock according to its species and all the reptiles that crawl on the earth according to their species, all the birds according to their species, all the birds, all the winged beings. So they came to Noah in the ark, two by two, of every flesh in which is the breath of life. Those who came, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded him: the Lord closed the door behind him. The flood lasted forty days on the earth: the waters grew and raised the ark which rose on the earth. The waters became powerful and grew much above the earth and the ark floated on the waters. The waters rose higher and higher above the earth and covered all the highest mountains that are under the whole sky. The waters exceeded the mountains they covered in fifteen cubits. Every living thing that moves on earth perished, birds, livestock and fairs and all beings swarming on earth and all men. Every being who has a breath of life in his nostrils, that is, how long he was on dry land died. Thus was exterminated every being that was on earth: from men, to domestic animals, the reptiles and birds of the sky; they were exterminated from the earth and only Noah and whoever was with him in the ark remained. The waters remained high above the earth one hundred and fifty days.
