Pope Francis' words regarding his health worry the faithful

Jorge Mario Bergoglio, became Papa Francesco in 2013 he was the first Latin American Pope in the history of the Catholic Church. From the beginning of his pontificate, he left a mark on him with his humility and genuine concern for people. He chose to live simply, renouncing various symbols of luxury associated with the papal position. He also underlined the importance of a personal relationship with God and of a faith practiced in everyday life.

During the meeting with European rabbis, the Pontiff declared that he had health problems and preferred to let the guests present read the speech. His voice tired and tired it didn't bode well.

It is undeniable that Pope Francis, who will accomplishat 87 years old on December 17th, has had some health problems this year. Twice last autumn, he was admitted to the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome. The first time, a the end of March, the Pontiff revealed that he had been hospitalized for severe acute pneumonia affecting the lower lungs. There second time, underwent surgery for an abdominal hernia in June.

But his health problems date back to times gone by. In fact, at a very young age he suffered aintervention due to a lung infection and later, in 2013, he was often seen limping due to knee osteoarthritis.

Despite these health problems, the Pope wanted to attend Portugal for World Youth Day, in Mongolia and Marseille, facing very demanding journeys. Even if the health of Pope causes concern, his strength of mind remains unchanged and nothing stops him from carrying out his duties and commitments.
