There is no feeling purer and more indissoluble than a mother's love for her child. The mother gives her life and takes care of her child until her death.

This is the sweetest story of a 98-year-old mother Ada Keating. The elderly lady, she decided at her ripe old age, to move spontaneously to the nursing home that houses her 80-year-old son. Shortly after her son entered the nursing home, her mother decided to go and keep him company. She didn't want her to be alone, since the man had never married and had no children.

The touching story of mother and son

Ada is the mother of 4 children and Tom being the eldest, he lived virtually his entire life with her. The woman worked at Mill Road Hospital and thanks to her specialization as a nurse, she was able to help her son suffering from various health problems.

The director of the facility Philip Daniels he is moved to see the old woman still taking care of her son, playing cards with him and chatting lovingly.

Very often we hear stories of children who deprive their parents of their safe nest, leaving them in nursing homes. When you make a similar gesture, you should reflect, look at the woman who raised us with so much love, and think that there is nothing more terrible than being deprived of one's memories and affections.

For an elderly person, home is the realm of memories, habits, love and the safe place to still feel part of something. Leave it to the elders freedom to choose and the dignity of still feeling useful, give them the respect and love that has been given to you without anything in return, but above all remember that the person you are snatching from their world is the one who gave you life.
