She was paralyzed, she was healed: miracle in Medjugorje

In Medjugorje a paralyzed woman gets healing. Our Lady who appears in Medjugorje gives so many graces. On August 10, 2003, a parishioner of mine told her husband: Let's go to Medjugorje. No, he says, because it's eleven o'clock and you feel how hot it is. But it doesn't matter, she says.

It doesn't matter, you have been paralyzed for fifteen years, all bent over, with your fingers closed; and then in Medjugorje there are many pilgrims and there is no place in the shade, because there is the Annual Youth Festival. We have to go, says his wife, a young woman who fell ill shortly after the wedding. Her husband, a very good man who has been looking after and serving her for fifteen years, is a great example for everyone. He does everything and their house is always in order, all clean. So he took his wife in his arms, like a little girl, and put her in the car.

At noon they are on Podbrdo, they hear the church bells ringing and pray to the Angelus Domini. Then, the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary begin to pray.

Continuing and praying the 2nd Mystery - the Visit of Mary to Elizabeth -, the woman feels a vital energy flowing from her shoulders down her back and feels that she no longer needs the collar she wears around her neck. She continues to pray, she has the feeling that someone is taking off her crutches and that she can stand up without any help. Then, looking at his hands, he sees that the fingers straighten and open like the petals of a flower; he tries to move them and sees that they work normally.

In Medjugorje a woman is healed: what the priest said

She watches her husband Branko weeps, then takes the crutches in his left hand and the collar in his right and, praying together, they arrive at the place where the statue of the Madonna is located. Or what a joy, after fifteen years she can kneel and raise her hands to thank, praise and bless. They're happy! She says to her husband: Branko let's go to confession to completely eradicate the old man from our life. In Medjugorje a paralyzed woman gets healing.

They come down the hill and find a priest in the sanctuary for confession. After confession, the woman tries to explain and convince the priest that she has just been healed, but he does not want to understand and says to her: Okay, go in peace. She insists: Father, my crutches are out of the confessional, I was paralyzed! And he repeats: Okay, okay, go in peace ..., see how many people are waiting to confess! The woman has become sad, healed but sad. You cannot understand why the friar does not believe you.

During the H. Mass, she was consoled and enlightened by the Word of God, by grace, by Communion. She came home with one statue of the Madonna, who wanted to buy according to his taste, and came to me to have it blessed. We shared moments of joy and thanks for the healing.

The next day, she went to the hospital where doctors knew her illness and conditions well.

When they see it they are amazed!

A Muslim doctor asks her: Where have you been, in which clinic?

On Podbrdo, he replies.

Where is this place?

In Medjugorje.

The doctor began to cry, then also a Catholic doctor, a physiotherapist, and everyone embraced her happily. They cry and say: Blessed are you!

The hospital chief tells her to come back after a month. When she left on September 16, he said: It's truly a great miracle! Now you come with me, let's go to the bishop because I want to explain to him that a miracle happened.

Jadranka, this is the name of the healed woman, says: Doctor doesn't need to go, because he doesn't need this, he needs prayer, grace, and not to be informed. It is better to pray for him than to talk to him!

The primary insists: But you just have to be present!

The woman replies: Listen, sir, if we turn on a light in front of a blind man, we have not given him any help; if you turn on the light in front of the eyes that do not see it does not help, because in order to see the light man must be able to see. Therefore, the bishop needs only grace!

The doctor says that for the first time he understood how great the difference between believing and reading, listening or receiving information, how great is the gift of faith.
