Albano Carrisi and the miracle received from Padre Pio

Albano Carrisi, in a recent interview, confesses that he received a miracle from Padre Pio following his health problems.

Albano began his musical career in the 60s as a guitarist for a band called I Ribelli. In 1966 he began a solo career and released his first single, "La siepe", which became a hit in Italy. Throughout the 70s and 80s, Albano continued to release hit albums and singles, both as a solo artist and in collaborations with other musicians.

Albano's most famous collaboration is with fellow Italian singer Romina Power. The duo, known as Al Bano and Romina Power, was one of Italy's most successful and popular musical artists during the 80s and 90s.

Overall, Albano has outsold 165 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling Italian artists of all time.

Carrisi and his vocal cord problems

During an interview given to Verissimo, the Canale 5 program, presented by Silvia Toffanin, the singer let himself go to a confession regarding his health problems. After receiving news from doctors of vocal cord problems, the singer began to think about leaving the music world.

The vocal cords, not working well, prevented the voice from coming out. Albano has had some bad moments, especially at the thought that he would no longer be able to sing. Fortunately theintervention it went well and the singer returned to excite the great Italian public.

During the interview, Albano Carrisi recounts that, immediately after the operation, he went to Pietralcina with his arranger and entered the newly built church in honor of Padre Pio. Hearing a beautiful echo, he decided to sing an impromptu tune. At that moment, she doesn't know if it's thanks to Padre Pio, but he started singing again. He had his voice again.
