Guardian Angel: Experiences on the threshold of death

In many books there are hundreds of people who, all over the world, have had experiences on the threshold of death, people believed to be clinically dead, who have had wonderful experiences in this situation of which they spoke when they returned to life. These experiences are so real that they changed their lives. In many cases they see spiritual guides, beings of light who usually identify with angels. Let's see some of these experiences.

Ralph Wilkerson tells his case which was published in the book "Return from the Afterlife". He was at work in the quarries when he had a serious accident that left him with a broken arm and neck. He lost consciousness and, waking up the next day totally healed and inexplicably cured, he said to the nurse: "Last night I saw a very bright light in my house and an angel was with me all night."

Arvin Gibson in his book "Sparks of Eternity" tells the case of Ann, a nine-year-old girl, who had a principle of leukemia; one night he sees a beautiful lady, full of light, who seemed pure crystal and flooded everything with light. He asked her who she was and she replied that he was her guardian angel. He took her "to a new world, where one breathed love, peace and joy". Upon his return, the doctors found no more signs of leukemia.

Raymond Moody, in his book “Life after life”, also tells the case of a five-year-old girl, Nina, whose heart stopped during an appendicitis operation. As her spirit leaves her body, she sees a beautiful lady (her angel) who helps her to cross the tunnel and takes her to heaven where she sees wonderful flowers, the Eternal Father and Jesus; but they tell her that she must come back, because her mother was very sad.

Betty Malz in her book "Angels Watching Over Me", written in 1986, talks about experiences with angels. Other interesting books on these experiences bordering on death are "Life and Death" (1982) by dr. Ken Ring, Michael Sabom's "Memories of Death" (1982), and Georges Gallup's "Adventures in Immortality" (1982).

Joan Wester Anderson, in her book "Where Angels Walk", tells the case of the three-year-old boy Jason Hardy, which occurred in April 1981. His family lived in a country house and the boy fell into a swimming pool. When they realized the fact, the baby had already drowned and had been under water for at least an hour, clinically dead. The whole family was in despair. They called the nurses who arrived immediately and took him to the hospital. Jason was in a coma and humanly nothing could be done. After five days, pneumonia developed and the doctors believed the end had come. His family and friends prayed a lot for the baby's recovery, and the miracle happened. He began to wake up and after twenty days he was healthy and was discharged from the hospital. Today Jason is a strong and dynamic young man, totally normal. What had happened? The child, in the few words he spoke, said that everything was dark in the pool, but "the angel was with me and I was not afraid". God had sent the guardian angel to save him.

The dr. Melvin Morse, in his book "Closer to the Light" (1990), talks about the case of the seven-year-old girl Krystel Merzlock. She fell into a swimming pool and drowned; he hadn't given any heart or brain signs for more than nineteen minutes. But miraculously he recovered in a completely inexplicable way for medical science. She told the doctor that, after falling into the water, she felt well and that Elizabeth accompanied her to see the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ. When asked who Elizabeth was, she replied without hesitation: "My guardian angel." She later related that the Eternal Father had asked her if she wanted to stay or return and she had decided to stay with him. However, after she was shown her mother and siblings, she eventually decided to return with them. When he came to his senses, he told the doctor some details he had seen and appreciated up there, such as the tube placed through the nostril and other details that ruled out the lie or that what he was telling was a hallucination. Finally, Krystel said, "The sky is fantastic."

Yes, the sky is fantastic and beautiful. It pays to live well to be up there for all eternity, as surely will be that seven-year-old girl whose death Dr. Diana Komp witnessed. This case was published in the Life magazine dossier in March 1992. Says the doctor: “I was sitting by the little girl's bed, with her parents. The girl was in the last stage of leukemia. At one point he had the energy to sit down and say with a smile: I see beautiful angels. Mom, do you see them? Listen to their voice. I have never heard such beautiful songs. Soon after he died. I felt this experience as a living and real thing, as a gift, a gift of peace for me and for her parents, a gift from the child at the moment of death ». What happiness to be able to live like her in the company of angels and saints, singing and praising, loving and adoring our God for all eternity!

Do you want to live all eternity in heaven in the company of angels?
