Life keepers
Guardian angels watch over people throughout their life on Earth, they say many different religious traditions. Ancient Greek philosophy stated that guardian spirits were assigned to each person for life, as well as Zoroastrianism. The belief in guardian angels that God accuses of caring for human life is also a vital part of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

Protect people
As their name suggests, guardian angels are often seen working to protect people from danger. The ancient Mesopotamians looked to guardian spiritual beings called shedu and lamassu to protect them from harm. Guardian angels can also guide your path in life. In Exodus 32:34 of the Torah, God tells Moses as he is preparing to lead the Jewish people to a new place: "my angel will precede you." Psalm 91:11 of the Bible says of the angels: "For [God] will command his angels who concern you to guard you in all your ways." Popular literary works have sometimes depicted the idea of ​​faithful and fallen angels who offer good and bad guidance respectively.
