Child with dystrophy realizes his dream of becoming a farmer

This is the story of the little one John, a child born with muscular dystrophy with little life expectancy.

La muscular dystrophy it is a frightening genetic disease that affects the muscles and causes them to progressively waste away. Unfortunately, to date there is no therapy, i.e. a cure capable of curing the disease. Patients can only count on symptomatic treatments, capable of relieving symptoms. Life expectancy is 27/30 years, but in some cases it is possible to reach 40/50.

Since childhood, John enjoyed following his father in his activities farmer, free, in contact with nature. As time passed, parents saw a strong desire grow in their son to follow in his father's footsteps. He engaged in all kinds of agricultural activities, despite the wheelchair.

But the turning point for John comes when his father, watching a hunting broadcast, has discovered a type of tracked wheelchair. Despite their willingness to fulfill their child's dream, the chair was too expensive for the family.

John's dream comes true thanks to the crawler chair

Fortunately one day the father found a second-hand one, bought it and began to make the necessary modifications. For example, he added a large piece of wood to the front, to be able to push the feed for the cows.

A 12 years Thanks to his special crawler chair, John has really become a little farmer. He was able to plant the potatoes, put the grain back in the barn, feed the animals. Nothing is now impossible for little John.

The proud mother of her child, posted on social networks a video lesson depicting his proud son at work. John, the child with no life expectancy, proved to the family and to all of us that with perseverance there is nothing we can't do.
