In the most difficult moments of life, what gives strength and hope is having your family and loved ones close by. Sometimes, however, it happens that a nurse gives you the most beautiful smile and turns into your guardian angel throughout the journey.

Daniel Yolan is a nurse at a children's hospital in Buenos Aires, the same hospital where she was treated Milena, a little girl battling cancer. Daniel assisted her every day, took Milena's story to heart and bonded a very special relationship with her.

The defeat of cancer and the dance of victory

One day, the chemotherapy finished and the nurse, Milena and her mother improvised the “victory dance“. They put on the music and all began to dance together, to rejoice in the struggles won up to that moment.

Daniel is proof that the job can be done with the heart, and which can really give great joys, especially if you work with frail and sick people. Seeing them heal is the greatest victory one can witness. Being able to share the merit of healing then makes everything even more wonderful.

We can only hope that in hospitals, in rest facilities, and in all places where there are frail people, who suffer, there are so many Daniels to take care of them with respect and love.

The image of Daniel and Milena, who danced happily, was shared on the profile by the mother, and went around the web. Sometimes it's really true, when faced with difficult situations, you must never lose your smile.
