Children alone in the hospital, an NGO is born that gives love to those who have no one.

Today we want to tell you about a wonderful initiative by Moms in Action, an NGO born with the aim of giving love to children alone in hospital who have no one or who cannot be looked after by their parents.

Their fantastic work has shown that with affection, children respond better to care and always feel cared for and loved.

Thinking of a child fighting an illness is already a very sad scene, but think about the solitude that accompanies it is truly heartbreaking. And it is precisely against this situation that this Omg fights, which collaborates with doctors to give joy to children and not make them feel alone anymore.

In Spain beyond 50000 children have no parents and to reach as many of them as possible, the work is organized with aapp, where volunteers are free to register and begin their experience, totally free, after adequate preparation.

Maria Lopez she is the coordinator of Mamás en Acción and says that the children they look after are abandoned, without protection, abused, separated from their families of origin or protected by family homes.

How they do their job

To tell us about their duties is Lorena, a volunteer who dedicates herself to this mission when she has the day off at work. She says that what they do is simply what a father or a mother would do: give their child the presence, thelove, play with them, colour, cuddle them and keep them company. Lorena learned about the Omg through the radio.

Right from the start she welcomed the news with joy and decided to lend her work to these children. A year has already passed since then, and the woman feels a lot gratified from what it does.

Volunteers tell how they prepare to meet these little patients. They explain that through theapp, collect information about children and their health status and decide which activity is most suitable for each case. These volunteers give away gioia and receive in return affection and gratitude.
