Dead child miraculously comes back to life after Don Bosco's blessing

Today we tell you about one of the most famous miracles related to the figure of Don Bosco, which features the bimbo of the Marquise Gerolamo Uguccioni Berardi.

The story goes that during the sixteenth century, in Italy, the Marchesa Gerolama Uguccioni Gherardi he had lost his son. The child had died suddenly and the mother could not accept the loss of him. Desperate, she decided to turn to the only man who could save him, Don Bosco.

Don Bosco, who was known for his great faith and holiness, agreed to help the marquise despite all the warnings of the doctors. So he went to the house of the Marquise Gerolama.

The child miraculously comes back to life

Once there, the saint invited everyone in the room to pray with him  Mary Help of Christians. Don Bosco began to pray intensely, asking a God of every possible grace to bring the child back to life and then blessed the body. While she was praying, the Marquise began to notice slight contractions in her child's body. The saint did not stop, but continued his prayer until, suddenly, the child came back to life.

Don Bosco was a highly respected man and his holiness was not in doubt. The miracle confirmed the veneration for him, but also his dedication to the Christian faith.

Following the death of Don Bosco, the child who had died come back to life, was invited and testified the miracle that had taken place, stating that it was the saint who gave him life again.

Don Bosco was so loved because he dedicated his life to serving young people, especially those most in need and disadvantaged. He founded the Salesian Society of San Giovanni Bosco, an organization that trains young people around the world. He was known for his dedication to work, his strong faith and his spirit of charity, which allowed him to help and transform the lives of many children.
