Walking every day in faith: the true meaning of life

Today we realize that love of neighbor is fading from the heart of man and sin is becoming absolute master. We know the power of violence, the power of illusion, the power of mass manipulation, the power of weapons; today we are manipulated and, at times attracted, by people who lead us to believe in everything they say.
We want our independence from God. We do not realize that our life is becoming devoid of conscience, an important principle that allows us to operate by giving value to justice and honesty.

Nothing disturbs human decency, not even the deception of facts, everything appears clean, honest. We are surrounded by useless news and reality TVs that want to gain notoriety and easy income are proof of this. Fame pushes man more and more towards sin (which is estrangement from God) and rebellion; where man wants to be at the center of his life, God is excluded, and so is his neighbor. Even in the religious sphere, the concept of sin has become abstract. Hopes and expectations are based only on this life and this means that the world lives in despair, without hope, wrapped in the misery of the soul. Thus God becomes an uncomfortable figure because man wants to be at the center of his life. Humanity is collapsing and this makes us realize how powerless we are. It is painful to see how many people intentionally continue to sin because their expectations are only for this life.

Of course it is difficult to be true believers in these times, but we must keep in mind that any silence on the part of the faithful means being ashamed of the Gospel; and if each of us has a task, we must continue to carry it out, because we are free people to love and serve Christ, despite the adversities and unbeliefs of the world. Working on ourselves with faith is a daily journey that increases the state of consciousness making us realize, every day more, our true nature and with it the meaning of life.
