WHAT WILL WE FIND IN THE AFTERLIFE?

"No one has ever come to tell me," someone replies ... Well, God told us, because we realize our eternal destiny: It is established that men die and, after death, there is judgment (Heb. 9 , 27). There are two judgments: - one personal for each soul, immediately after death: Without personal regard, God judges each according to his works (I Pt. 1, 17); - the other universal: When the Son of man (Christ) comes in his glory with all his angels, he will sit on the throne of his glory. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate one from the other (Mt 25, 31.32). After the first judgment, what happens to the soul? - If it is sinless and totally purified from the sins committed, go to Heaven: good and faithful servant, take part in the glory of your Lord (Mt. 25, 23). - If he is in venial (light) sin or has not totally purified himself from the sins committed, he goes to Purgatory: he had him thrown in prison, until he had paid all the debt (Mt. 18:30). If he is in mortal sin and did not want to ask God for forgiveness, he goes to hell: Tie him hands and feet and throw him out into the darkness; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth (Mt 22, 13). How long will Heaven and Hell last? Heaven and Hell will last forever: the righteous will go to "eternal" life. Away, away from me, cursed, in the "eternal" fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (Mt. 25, 46.41).
