Whoever believes in me does not die but will live forever (by Paolo Tescione)

Dear friend, let us continue our meditations on faith, on life, on God. Perhaps we have already told each other everything, we have made considerations in all the things that matter in our life lived in faith.

Today I want to tell you a phrase in the Gospel said by Jesus that is not the same as the other speeches made by the Lord, but this phrase lived in depth changes people's lives. JESUS SAID "THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN ME DO NOT DIE BUT WILL LIVE ETERNALLY".

The same speech was taken by the apostle Paul in one of his letters when he said "who believes in his heart that Jesus rose from the dead and pronounces with his lips that he is the Lady will be saved".

So my friend do not turn, as many do, around the faith but go right to the center of everything "believe in Jesus".

What does it mean to believe in Jesus?

This means that when you are dealing with your neighbor you treat him as a brother, that you remember the poor, that when you pray you know that you don't waste time, respect your parents, you are honest at work, you love creation, you hate violence and lust, thank you for what you have, you know that your life is a gift and must be lived to the fullest, you know that your life depends on the creator.

My dear friend, this means believing in Jesus, this gives the prize of eternal life that the Lord promises for those who believe in him.

Faith must be lived, must be practiced in life, in everyday life. It is not a theory of chatter or repetition but a teaching of life done directly by God.

And if sometimes you stumble on this path, don't fear the Lord knows your frailties, knows your person, he loves you and created you.

Today on this day of rest, between the wind that breezes my skin and the thought turns to heaven, this I want to convey to you my dear friend: believe in Jesus, live with Jesus, speak and listen to Jesus, because your life is eternal like him himself promised you.
