carlo acutis born in London on May 2, 1991 and died on October 12, 2006, he was a young Italian considered a model of Christian life. He lived part of his short life in Italy, where he attended elementary and middle school. From a young age, he showed a strong interest in the Catholic religion, technology and information technology.

Carlo developed an early talent for the computer programming and created several websites for the promotion of the Catholic faith. One of the most important projects of him was the creation of the website ”Eucharistic miracles“, which documents the miracles of the transformation of the wafer and wine into the body and blood of Christ.

Carlo was also a great fan of football and was part of a local youth team. However, his greatest passion was the Catholic faith, which gave him the strength and guidance for his short life.

In 2006, just 15 years, Carlo died of a rare form of leukemia. Before he died, he had expressed the desire to donate his body for scientific research and his heart was kept as a relic in the church of Santa Monica in Ostiglia, in the province of Mantua.
