How to pray to God to protect us from premature death

This prayer is to ask God to protect us from the snares of the evil one and from premature death.

If you are young and feel death lurking around the corner or know someone who is young and on the verge of dying or you just want protection from premature death for yourself and your family, say this powerful prayer:

“Hear us, O God of our salvation! Do not issue the decree for the fulfillment of our days before you forgive us our sins; and since penance is not valid in hell, and there is no room for amendment there, so humbly we pray and beg you here on earth, that, by giving us time to pray for forgiveness, you also grant us the forgiveness of our sins. For Christ our Lord. Amen".

“Take away, merciful Lord, all errors from your faithful people, drive away the sudden destruction of the devastating pestilence. For Christ our Lord. Amen".

Antiphon - Sin no more, my soul!

There, in hell, penance is not accepted, and tears are of no use. Turn around, therefore, while you have time; cry out and say: Have mercy on me, my God!

Antiphon - In the midst of life we are in death!

Whom then shall we seek, O Lord, to come to our aid, save you, O Lord! though you are really angry with us because of sins? O Holy Lord, holy and merciful Savior, never hand us over to a bitter death.

We beseech you, Almighty God, welcome in your paternal mercy your people who flee you from your wrath; so that those who fear being punished by the rod of your majesty in the sudden death, may be made worthy to rejoice in your gracious forgiveness. For Christ our Lord. Amen.

We plead with you, Almighty God, to kindly extend your ear to the assembly of your church, and let your mercy prevent your wrath in our behalf; because if you should notice the iniquities, no creature will be able to stand before you: but in the name of that wonderful charity, for which you created us, forgive us sinners and do not destroy the work of your own hands with sudden death. For Christ our Lord. Amen.
