Prayer for the sick and the elderly

All praise and glory are yours,
Lord our God.
Because you have called us to serve You and each other in
love.

Bless our sick today so that they can endure their illness
in union with the sufferings of Jesus and heal them quickly, bringing them health.

Bless those who have grown old in Your service
and gives them courage and strength in faith.
Lead us all to eternal glory.

We ask you for our Lord Jesus Christ,
Your Son, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, the only God, forever and ever.
Amen. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for us.
