How to pray for the health of a premature baby and for the mother
1 - Prayer of Strength
Almighty God, thank you for giving doctors the wisdom to save my baby's life. I praise you for protecting him from premature death. As he fights for his life in the incubator, fill him with strength in his inner being so that he can fully mature. Lord, fill the nurses and doctors who are taking care of him with the strength to take care of our baby and all the other premature babies. I pray for mothers who are going through the same ordeal all over the world. Father, give them divine strength. Help them accept what has happened and continue to fight for the fruits of their womb through prayer. In the name of Jesus, I believe and pray, Amen.

Ladies, thank you for these amazing health care workers who work around the clock to ensure our baby is safe and sound. Thank you for the technology you have given us to help protect the lives of prematurely born babies. I also want to thank You for giving us the strength to fight in faith and not out of fear. Lord, even with caregivers doing exceptional work, we know it is Your mighty hand that will help our baby mature and be healthy. Support our baby with Your right right hand and fight for us. Let Your name be glorified through this child. In the name of Jesus, we believe and pray, Amen.

Dear God, I am filled with fear and anguish. My baby was born premature and the doctors say he won't survive. But that's not what you promised us in your word. You knew this baby before it formed in my womb. All the days ordered for my baby are written in Your book. Father, it's not over for my baby until You say so. I place my trust only in You. Lord, cover my baby with Your protective arms. Protect this child from disease and any other type of attack. In the name of Jesus, I believe and pray, Amen.

Father God, Your word says You have good plans for us, plans to thrive and not to let us down. I stand firm on these words and declare and decree that my baby, who was born premature, will grow according to the plans you have for him. I reject any language that rises up against him in the form of bad medical reports and discouragement from friends and family. Lord, my son will live and declare Your glorious work. In the name of Jesus, I believe and pray, Amen.

Father, thank you for our baby who has finally come into the world. Lord, we know this wasn't the best way to get our son to come, but it all works together for our good. I choose to thank You, even if I am afraid. Source of living water, make my child find fullness in You. Let the power of the Resurrection that raised Jesus from the dead rest upon this child to become stronger and healthier. In the name of Jesus, I believe and pray, Amen.
