How to react to pain thanks to faith

Very often in the life of men misfortunes occur that one would never want to live. Faced with so much pain that we see in the world today, we are often led to ask ourselves why God allows so much suffering, why a pain has hit us, in short, we ask ourselves many questions, almost always seeking an answer in the divine will. But the truth is, we have to search within ourselves.
There are many problems that can cause so much suffering such as a serious illness, abuse, earthquakes, family quarrels, wars, but also the pandemic that we have been facing for some time now. The world shouldn't be like this. God does not want all of this, He has given us the freedom to choose good or evil and the possibility of loving.

We are often tempted to distance ourselves from faith, from Jesus, and without love we set out on wrong paths, towards suffering, the very one that makes us equal to Christ. It is good to be like Him and the likeness often comes precisely through pain. Jesus not only underwent many physical sufferings, crucifixions, torture but also suffered spiritual sufferings such as betrayal, humiliation, distance from the Father. He suffered every kind of injustice, he sacrificed himself for all of us, carrying the cross first. Even when we are wounded we must love by following the teachings that he himself has given us. Christ is the way to follow to reach our joy even if, at times, we have to carry difficult situations that make us feel bad. It is very difficult to stand still and look at the pain that spreads in the world and not know what to do but Christians who are faithful to God have the right energy to alleviate suffering and make the world better. God first spreads the dark colors of suffering and then brushes them with the golden hues of glory. This indicates to us that evil is not harmful to believers but becomes beneficial. We should focus less on the dark side and more on the light.
