How to react to evil and learn to pray (by Father Giulio Scozzaro)

HOW TO REACT TO EVIL AND LEARN TO PRAY

Fidelity to God's grace is one of the spiritual commitments neglected by many Christians, there is no adequate knowledge of the value of grace.

The responsibility of Christians who are indifferent or distracted by the things of the world is evident and they must not be saddened when suffering arrives and do not have the strength to bear it. There is no joy or indifference to pain, killing is usually the most natural behavior.

Many react and learn to pray. God's grace bears fruit, the believer becomes more spiritual and gives up selfishness.

Receiving Grace through the Sacraments with docility means committing ourselves to do what the Holy Spirit suggests to us in the depths of our hearts: to fulfill our duties perfectly, first of all when it comes to our commitments with God; then it is a question of making a decisive commitment to reach a goal, such as the practice of a certain virtue or the amiable endurance of an opposition that perhaps extends over time, causing annoyance.

If we pray well and meditate every day on Jesus, the Holy Spirit acts in us and teaches us the most important spiritual orientations.

The greater the fidelity to these Graces, the more we are in the disposition to receive others, the easier we have to carry out good works, the greater joy there will be in our life, since joy is always in close relationship with our correspondence to Grace.

PROBLEMS FOR BELIEVERS ARE BORN WHEN THEY DO EVERYTHING IN LIFE WITHOUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPIRITUAL WAY WITH GOOD READINGS, WITHOUT COMPARING WITH THE SPIRITUAL FATHER AND WHEN THEY FIND HIS DIFFICULTIES THAT CANNOT EXCEED BY SOLELY.

God's Grace does not act where there is closure to God's Will.

Docility to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit is acquired only if a journey of faith led by the confessor or the spiritual Father is underway. To get there, it is essential to deny oneself and be convinced that choices are often wrong by themselves, in fact the rich - arrogant and authoritarian - make moral mistakes and live on whims, superficiality and whims.

The Holy Spirit gives us innumerable Graces to avoid deliberate venial sin and those small shortcomings which, while not real sins, displease God. An earthly father wants to see his children willing to do their things well, so does the mom is happy with the docility and obedience of her children.

GOD THE FATHER ASKS US FOR FAITHFULNESS, CORRESPONDENCE TO HIS GRACE OTHERWISE THE CHRISTIAN IS LOST AND REMAINS ONLY IN THE DECISIONS OF LIFE.

When Grace is lost, it is necessary to have recourse to Confession and this Sacrament revitalizes the believer and communion with Jesus.

It is necessary to start over many times on the spiritual path, without ever breaking down.
Discouragement must be avoided due to defects that cannot be overcome and virtues that cannot be acquired.

Consistency and constancy are indispensable to correspond well to the Will of God and to live happily, even in the midst of suffering.

In the world there is a lot of suffering and the kingdom of Evil has been established, it dominates in every sector, it is also cloaked in sacred clothes and disguises itself behind packaged and hypocritical words. It is not the words he pronounces or the role he plays at the moment that gives a particular person that essential "something" to manage a healthy and engaging charisma.
More than the role, it is the personality that arouses followers, convinces others to join a spiritual, political, aggregative project, etc.

Personality is the set of psychic characteristics and behavioral modalities (inclinations, interests, passions).

Only by following the Lord does the person improve his condition and reach spiritual and human maturity, the bearer of balance and prudence.

If the Christian truly discovers Jesus and imitates Him, without realizing it he becomes more and more Jesus, acquires the Spirit and therefore his feelings, the ability to love even his enemies, to forgive everyone, to think well, to never reach reckless judgment.

Whoever adores Jesus, attends the Sacraments, practices the virtues and prays well, the Kingdom of God increases in him and becomes a new person.

Jesus' explanation of the seed is complete, it allows us to understand the action of God's grace in us, and it is possible if we become docile.

The seed grows independently of the will of the man who sowed it, the Kingdom of God develops in us even if we do not think about it.
