Consecration to Saint Joseph

O Saint Joseph, a just and faithful man, who in the fullness of time cooperated in the great mystery of our Redemption as virginal husband of Mary and head of the Holy Family of Nazareth; from the Church, our mother and teacher, proclaimed universal Patron, accepts my entrustment and my consecration to You.

O St. Joseph, as the Eternal Father deigned to entrust to you the greatest treasures that he possessed, Jesus and Mary; so I, with humble faith, intend to consecrate myself to You with full will. To your patronage I entrust my person and what is dear to me: the health of the soul and body, the safety of my family and my community, above all the unconditional loyalty to Baptism and to my particular Vocation.

O St. Joseph, under your loving gaze, I renew today the baptismal promises and commitments of my state of life, taken on in the sacrament of Matrimony, or in the sacred Order, or in the Religious Profession.

O Saint Joseph, have for me and for those dear to me, the care you had for Jesus and for Mary: welcome me into the house of the Lord as a member of your own Family; help me to know, serve and love Jesus and Mary as you have known them, served them and loved them. At the end of life open the doors of Heaven to me.

Amen.
