CROWN TO MERCY

(Use a common Rosary Crown)

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

On the cross:

I believe in God, Almighty Father, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and he was buried; the underworld descended; on the third day he rose from the dead; he went up to heaven, sits at the right hand of God the Almighty Father: from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the remission of sins, the resurrection of the flesh, eternal life. Amen.

PRAYER TO OBTAIN THE GRACE OF PERFORMING WORKS OF MERCY TOWARDS NEXT

I wish to transform myself completely into your Mercy and be a living reflection of You, O Lord. May the greatest attribute of God, that is, his immeasurable Mercy, reach my neighbor through my heart and soul.

Help me, O Lord, to make my eyes merciful, so that I never harbor suspicions and judge on the basis of external appearances, but know how to see what is beautiful in the soul of my neighbor and help.

Help me to make sure that my hearing is merciful, that I bend over the needs of my neighbor, that my ears are not indifferent to my neighbor's pains and moans.

Help me, O Lord, to make my language merciful and never speak unfavorably about your neighbor, but have a word of comfort and forgiveness for each one.

Help me, O Lord, to make my hands merciful and full of good deeds, so that I can only do good to my neighbor and take the heaviest and most painful jobs on me.

Help me to make my feet merciful, so that I will always rush to the aid of my neighbor, overcoming my indolence and my tiredness. My real rest is in the availability to others.

Help me, O Lord, to make my heart merciful, so that I may participate in all the sufferings of our neighbor. I will not refuse my heart to anyone. I will also behave sincerely with those of whom I know who will abuse my goodness, while I will take refuge in the most merciful Heart of Jesus.

I will not speak of my sufferings.

May your mercy in me, O my Lord.

Or my Jesus, transform me in Yourself, since You can do everything.
