On the major grains:
Crown of Thorns, consecrated by God for the redemption of the world,
for sins of thought, purge the mind of those who pray to you so much. Amen
On minor grains it is repeated 10 times:
For your SS. painful Crown of Thorns, forgive me or Jesus.
It ends by repeating three times:
Crown of thorns consecrated by God ... In the Name of the Father of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
The "excuse" of our weakness
If you have been asked to build a rocket from scratch, you might object by stating that you are not proficient in this area and, therefore, cannot do what you are asked to do. We often have the same answer to God regarding his will. We can easily feel as though our Lord is asking too much of us, but this is a foolish thought as our Lord would never ask us to do what He will not even give us the grace to do (see Journal # 435).
What do you feel unqualified to do? Perhaps it is a family matter or an activity you are called to attend in church. Or maybe ours Lord put in your heart something you avoid considering for feelings of inadequacy. But if there we trust in Jesus, we must trust that we will be able to fulfill his perfect Will in our lives. We must have faith that he would never call us to anything beyond what we can accomplish through his grace.
Lord, I tell you "Yes" today again. Once again I renew my commitment to fulfill your holy Will. May I not let worries or lack of trust prevent me from fulfilling the holy mission you have entrusted to me. Jesus I believe in you.
