Runner miraculously heals after being dead for 3 hours

It was the month of January when Tommy Price The 27-year-old and his friend Max Saleh, 26, were running along the track through Hall's Fell in the Lake District, to reach the nearest village.

Temperatures were below freezing that day, with high winds, snow and sleet. In an instant Tommy Price falls to the ground due to cardiac arrest due to severe hypothermia. His core body temperature had reached 19 degrees.

Max in a panic tried to use the phones to call for help but both phones' batteries were dead. So he decided to put his friend in an emergency survival bag and run for help.

Il Keswick Mountain Rescue he received Max's alarm and rushed to the scene equipped with clothes and snacks. Upon their arrival they found the sack with stones but no trace of the boy. A few meters later they spotted the boy's body face down.

Tommy price wakes up after 3 hours in a coma

At first glance, the rescuers thought it was too late, but the guidelines required that the protocol be applied anyway. Tommy did not answer the RCP nor to defibrillator, then was loaded into a helicopter and taken to hospital.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Tommy's temperature was 18,8%, a temperature too low to survive. So the doctors decided to induce a coma in the boy. He woke up 5 days later remembering nothing and asking for a coke.

Tommy Price remained clinically dead for 3 hours and twenty before paramedics took him to the hospital. His return to life was a real miracle. He recovered well, but suffered severe nerve damage to his hands and feet. Now the boy is running there London marathon to raise money for Keswick Mountain Rescue, the team that saved his life.
