PERPETUAL NOVENA IN HONOR OF SAN GIUDA TADDEO (to be recited in difficult cases of life)

St. Jude, glorious Apostle faithful servant and friend of Jesus! The name of the traitor causes many to forget you, but the Church honors you and invokes you universally as patron of the needy.

Pray for me, who am so miserable; makes use, I implore you, of that particular privilege granted to you to bring visible and prompt help where it is so urgent ... Come to my rescue in this great need so that I can receive the consolation and protection of Heaven in all my hardships, tribulations and sufferings, especially ... (ask your question here), and may he bless God with you and all the elect for all eternity. I promise you, O blessed Saint Judah, to be grateful for this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron and to do everything in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

St. Jude, pray for us and for all those who ask for your help.

St. Judah, help those who are hopeless, help me in my affliction!

Pray for us, so that we may be given to appease Divine Justice, and obtain a benign sentence.

Pray for us, so that we may be admitted into the company of the blessed, to enjoy eternally in the presence of God. Amen.

Blessed Apostle, we invoke you with confidence!

Pray for us so that before death we can atone for all our sins with sincere repentance and with worthily receiving the holy sacraments.

We pray: Glorious Apostle, St. Jude Thaddeus, that you spread the true faith among the most distant nations; that you gained the obedience of Jesus Christ many tribes and peoples with the power of your holy word, grant me, I implore you, that from this day I have to give up every sinful habit, which is preserved from all bad thoughts, and can always to obtain your protection, particularly in all dangers and difficulties, and which may come safely to the heavenly homeland, to adore with you the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, for all the centuries of the centuries. Amen.
