Devotion to Jesus for a second chance

Devotion to Jesus: Help me live like You day after day and may also be willing to suffer humiliation, indifference and injustice. They exemplified Your life, so that like You, I too can learn obedience through the things I might be called to suffer. May my life be a living reflection of You and develop a pure heart of grace in me. I would also like love and a focused mind, where You become the standard of my life. Please give me a spirit of humility as I try to live like You, Lord Jesus, in the power of Spirit and glory of God.

May the life I live, the words I speak, the attitude I develop and the motives of my heart be acceptable to Your eyes. My God and mine Redeemer may You be seen in me as it begins to increase more and more in my life. As I diminish in importance, so that those with whom I come in contact are drawn to You, Jesus, and are brought to a saving knowledge of You, to glory of the Father. 

How we praise and magnify the beautiful name of Jesus, who put aside the glory he had in heaven. With the Father before the world was created, to come to earth and be born as a man, so that through his perfect life and his sacrificial death, sinners like me can be redeemed from the pit of destruction, forgiven by the our sins and have peace with God the Father.

thank you, Jesus, that you got no reputation and that you were born as a humble slave. So that you can live a perfect life and become the sinless sacrifice for the sin of the whole world. Thank you, that you are the propitiation for our sins and that by believing in you we are returned in sweet communion with the Father. I hope you enjoyed this powerful devotion to Jesus.
