Devotion to Mary who unties the knots: the prayer to be said every day

Virgin Mother of God, rich in mercy, have mercy on me, your son and undo the knots (name him if possible….) Of my life. I need you to visit me, as you did with Elizabeth. Bring me Jesus, bring me the Holy Spirit. Teach me courage, joy, humility and like Elizabeth, make me full of the Holy Spirit. I want you to be my mother, my queen and my friend. I give you my heart and all that belongs to me: my home, my family, my external and internal goods. I belong to you forever. Put your heart in me so that I can do everything that Jesus will tell me to do.

Maria who unties the knots, pray for me.

PRAYER TO MARY THAT DISSOLVES THE KNOTS

In Your hands there is no knot that is not untied. Almighty Mother, with grace and Your power of intercession with Your Son Jesus, my Savior, receive this knot today (name it if possible ...). For the glory of God I ask you to dissolve it and dissolve it forever. I hope in you. You are the only comforter that God has given me. You are the fortress of my precarious forces, the richness of my miseries, the liberation of all that prevents me from being with Christ. Accept my call. Preserve me, guide me protect me, be my refuge.

Prayer to Mary who unties the knots

Virgin Mary, Mother who has never abandoned a child who cries for help, Mother whose hands work tirelessly for your beloved children, because they are driven by divine love and the infinite mercy that comes from your heart, turn towards me your gaze full of compassion, look at the pile of 'knots' that suffocate my life.

You know my despair and my pain. You know how paralyzed these knots are and I put them all in your hands.

Nobody, not even the devil, can take me away from your merciful help.

In your hands there is no knot that is not untied.

Virgin mother, with grace and your power of intercession with your Son Jesus, my Savior, today you receive this 'knot' (name it if possible). For the glory of God I ask you to dissolve it and dissolve it forever.

I hope in you.

You are the only consoler that the Father has given me. You are the fortress of my weak forces, the richness of my miseries, the liberation from everything that prevents me from being with Christ.

Accept my request.

Preserve me, guide me, protect me.

Be my refuge.

Maria, who unties the knots, pray for me

The devotion

Pope Francis, when he was a young Jesuit priest during his theological studies in Germany, saw this representation of the Virgin, being deeply affected by it. Back home, he pledged to spread the cult in Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina. [3] [4] [5]

The cult is now present throughout South America, particularly in Brazil.

An altarpiece due to the artist Marta Maineri, located in the church dedicated to San Giuseppe in the parish of San Francesco d'Assisi in Lainate (Milan), depicts the Madonna undoing the knots.

«The knot of Eve's disobedience had its solution with Mary's obedience; what the virgin Eve had linked with her unbelief, the virgin Mary dissolved it with her faith »

(Saint Irenaeus of Lyon, Adversus Haereses III, 22, 4)

PRAYER
I "Knots" of our lives are all the problems that we bring very often over the years and that we don't know how to solve: the knots of family quarrels, misunderstanding between parents and children, lack of respect, violence; the knots of resentment between spouses, the lack of peace and joy in the family; distress knots; the knots of desperation of the spouses who separate, the knots of the dissolution of families; the pain caused by a child who takes drugs, who is sick, who has left the house or who has left God; the knots of alcoholism, our vices and the vices of those we love, the knots of wounds caused to others; the knots of rancor that torments us painfully, the knots of the feeling of guilt, of abortion, of incurable diseases, of depression, of unemployment, of fears, of loneliness ... knots of unbelief, of pride, of the sins of our lives. The Virgin Mary wants all this to stop. Today she comes to meet us, because we offer these knots and she will untie them one after the other.
